There’s a point where performance stops feeling like performance. Come Play captures that moment—a figure reaching directly into the frame, pulling the viewer into the spectacle.

Photographed during Dragon Con in downtown Atlanta, the image sits somewhere between horror, theater, and the childhood instinct to keep playing.

This photograph is part of “I Don’t Wanna Grow Up” — Spirit of DragonCon, a photo essay by D.J. Johnson capturing the creativity, characters, and unapologetic joy of Dragon Con in Atlanta.
