Fulton County Library: Central In Focus
Updated: Apr 19
The Fulton County Library System’s flagship building is scheduled to reopen following a $50 million renovation and an investment of $300,000 into the commission and acquisition of sculptural and fine art. The building, designed in the brutalist architectural style by architect Marcel Breuer was completed in 1980, and this renovation modernizes the space suitable for a 21st-century library.
As part of the reopening, Fulton County invited artists to explore the space, to capture the beauty of the architecture and the artwork installed. InvertTheWrold was blessed to be among the photographers invited.
